Itinerary
Day 1: Guwahati Sightseeing
Upon arrival at Guwahati, meet our representative and proceed to the hotel. Guwahati, the biggest city in north east defined by the breath-taking river Brahmaputra, which flows here. The city sprawls along the curve of the river. Home to the world’s largest tea auction centre, and more importantly is the gateway to the whole of the north-eastern region of India.
On arrival, check in to the hotel. Rest day is free at leisure.Evening visit 'Kalakshetra', it is the unique place where, you can understand the Assamese history and culture, which presents through Light and sound show. Return to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02: Guwahati – Shillong
Today after breakfast, proceed to visit the Kamakhya Temple. The temple is one of the 51 Shakti Pithas, which is located on the Nilachal Hill in western part of Guwahati city. It is one of the oldest temple and holiest shrine for Hindus.
After visit, to transfer to Shillong, Shillong is also known as the 'Scotland of the East", which is located at the distance of about 100 kms by road. En-route visit Umiam Lake, a marvellous serene lake which is located at Just 15km north of Shillong, on the Shillong-Guwahati highway, it is a manmade lake.
On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel. Rest day is free at leisure. In evening visit the markets in the Mall.
Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3: Shillong – Cherapunjee - Shillong(Excursion Tour)
After breakfast, proceed to Cherrapunjee , which is located at the distance of about 60 kms away from Shillong. Chirapunji is known as the wettest place of India. Visit the beautiful waterfall-Nohkalikai which is one of the most popular attraction of cherrapunji. You can also explore some of the caves in and around Cherrapunjee.
In evening return to Shillong, on arrival visit Elephanta falls and Shillong peak for some panoramic views. Stay overnight at your hotel in Shillong.
Day 4: Shillong Sightseeing
Post breakfast, proceed to visit Don Bosco Monument, Botanical Garden, Ward’s Lake and Lady Hydri Park. Evening free at leisure or you can explore the nearby locations and markets as per your choice. Stay overnight at your hotel in Shillong.
Day 5: Shillong – Tezpur(By Road-238 Kilometres)
Today after having an early breakfast proceed to Tezpur. It is located on the north bank of the Brahmaputra, it is one of the most beautiful city in the state of Assam. Tezpur is also one of the historical city. The city abounds in archaeological sites, hills, lakes and gardens.
Upon arrival, check in at tea garden bungalow. After freshen up, visit the tea factory. Overnight at Tezpur.
Day 6: Tezpur – Bomdila(By Road-154 Kilometres)
Today after breakfast, proceed to Bomdila. It is situated in the West of Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh. Bomdila is located at the foothill of the eastern Himalayas. Its stunning scenic beautyattracts tourists to spend their holidays in the lap of nature. Long with that it is also popular for its Buddhist monasteries and apple orchards.
Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. After freshen up, proceed to explore the major attractions of the place including Bomdila Monastery, Bomdila View Point, Sessa Orchid Sanctuary, Apple Orchards and Craft Centre and Ethnographic Museum. After sightseeing return back to the hotel.
Day 7: Bomdila – Tawang (By Road-171 Kilometres)
Today after breakfast dive to Tawang. Tawang is one of the most beautiful town in Arunachal Pradesh which is located at the height of about 10,000 feet above sea level, boarded by Tibet in the North, Bhutan in the South-West. Tawang is known for its natural beauty as there are many beautiful glacier lakes in and around the town.
Upon arrival at Tawang, Check into your hotel. Rest for a while. Post lunch visit the famous 300 year old Monastery, Tawang Monastery. It is the oldest Gompa in India and second largest Monastery or Gompa in Asia. The Monastery is situated at the height of approximately 12000 feet above the sea level. An eight meter high gilded statue of the Buddha is located here. It also houses the various old Thankas (traditional paintings) and manuscripts.
Dinner and overnight at Tawang.
Day 8: Tawang Sightseeing
Today after breakfast proceed to visit the one of the most beautiful and highest lake Pangong Tang Tso, it located at the height of about 14,270 feet above from the sea level. This is an extremely scenic lake offer the breath taking view of the town.
Return in time for lunch. Rest day is free at leisure or you can do some shopping at the local market or explore the stunning surroundings of the place on your own. Overnight at Tawang.
Day 9: Tawang - Dirang (By Road-130 Kilometres)
Your return journey begins with your drive to Dirang. Upon arrive Dirang and enjoy lunch. Rest of the day at leisure. Rest day is free at leisure or you can take the experience the locale flavour or return to your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Dirang.
Day 10: Dirang – Bhalukpong(By Road-130 Kilometres)
Today after having an early breakfast, proceed to Bhalukpong. It is located in West Kameng district in Arunachal Pradesh. This beautiful place lies in the foothills of the Himalayas. Bhalukpong is an amazing place for adventure enthusiasts, wildlife enthusiasts, hikers, anglers and rafters.
Upon arrival check in to the hotel. After freshen up, proceed to explore Pakhui Wildlife Sanctuary. It is home to the Great Pied Hornbill, Bengal Tiger, deer and various other animals and birds. You can also visit the Tipi Orchidarium that has over 2600 cultivated orchids of 80 different species.
After visit, return back to the hotel. Overnight stay at Bhalukpong.
Day 11: Bhalukpong – Kaziranga National Park (By Road-107 Kilometres)
Upon arrival at Guwahati airport, Meet and assist by our representative at the airport. After welcome, drive to Kaziranga National Park, which is located at the distance of about 107 kilometres away from Bhalukpong. It is the home of the greater one-horned rhinoceros.
Upon arrival at Kaziranga. Check in at your pre booked hotel/Lodge/resort. Rest day is free for leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 12: Kaziranga National Park
Today early morning, proceed to explore the Eastern zone of Kaziranga National Park Enjoy the national park to seating on back of elephant. Apart from the Rhino, it is also the home of some other species such as swamp deer, wild buffalo, hog deer and elephants. There are a number of water bodies inside the Park.
After visit, return to the resort for breakfast. Afternoon, proceed for jeep safari through the Central Zone of the National Park. Evening come back to the hotel.
Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 13: Kaziranga National Park – Kohima (By Road-237 Kilometres)
Morning after breakfast depart for Kohima. Surrounded by the hills, Kohima is a beautiful city. It is the capital of Nagaland, which is located at the height of 1444 meter above sea level. The literal meaning of Kohima is the men of the land where the flower Kew Hi grows.
Arrive Kohima and check in at hotel. After freshen up proceed to The Kohima War Cemetery and Kohima village which is also known as Bara Basti ( big village) it is the home of Angami.
Evening free at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 14: Kohima – Imphal (By Road-138 Kilometres)
After breakfast, proceed to Imphal. It is the capital of Manipur. This scenic town blessed with magnificent natural beauty, along with that it is also known for its glorious history. Among them a historical place situated in the heart of the city, which is known as the Palace of Kangla.
Upon arrival check in to the hotel. After freshen up, proceed to visit the major attractions of town including Kangla fort, Govindjee temple and Andro Village.
After sightseeing return back to the hotel for Overnight stay.
Day 15: Imphal – Aizawl (By flight)
Today after breakfast, proceed to Imphal airport to take flight to Aizwal. Upon arrival at Aizawal, meet our repetitive, after welcome, proceed to hotel.
Aizawl, the state Capital of Mizoram is located at the height of 3715 feet above sea level. On arrival, check in to your pre booked hotel. Rest day is free at leisure, or you may explore the surroundings at your own or you may also explore the local markets and buy some handicraft items. Overnight at hotel.
Day 16: Aizawl Sightseeing
Today after breakfast, proceed for full day city of Aizawl tour visiting Bara Bazar, LuangmualHandicarfts Centre, Mizoram State Museum, Durtlang Hills, Mini Zoo and Berawtlang Tourist Complex.
After visiting the main attractions of Aizawl, return back to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 17: Aizwal - Tamdil -Aizawl (By Road- 85 Kilometres) Excursion Tour
After early breakfast, proceed for full day excursion for Tamdil Lake, which is located at the distance of about 85 kilometres away from Aizawl, it is the largest lake in Mizoram which is surrounded by dense forest. Explore the amazing surroundings of the place.
After visiting these places, return back to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 18: Aizawl – Silchar(By Road-180 Kilometres)
Today after having an early breakfast, proceed to Silchar by road. This beautiful town is situated in the state of Assam, which is a part of Cachar district. Silcharis the economic doorway to the states such as Manipur and Mizoram. It is located on the banks of River Barak, hence this stunning place also known as Barak Valley.
Upon arrival check in to the hotel. After freshen up, proceed to visit the major attractions of Silchar including Maniharan Tunnel, Maibong, Hajo, Temple Of Umanglai, MalthebJagannath Temple etc.
After sightseeing return back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 19: Silchar-Agartala (By Road-291 Kilometres)
After breakfast, proceed to Agartala. It is the Capital of Tripura formerly a princely state and shares its boundary with Bangladesh. It is located of the banks of Haora River.
On arrival, check in to the hotel. After freshen up, proceed to visit Kunjaban Palace, which was constructed by built by Maharaja Birendra Kishore Manikya. After that take blessings of Jagannath Temple
After visiting, return back to the hotel. Overnight stay at Agartala
Day 20: Agartala Sightseeing
Post breakfast full day excursion around Agartala visiting Sipahijola, it is the stunning Zoological Park, which is the home of more than 150 species of residential birds, migratory birds and lots of wild animals including spectacled monkey, tiger and leopards. Later visit one of the oldest shrine, Tripura Sundari Temple, which was constructed in 1501 AD. Then proceed to visit one of the most beautiful place Nirmahal, which is located at the distance of about 53 kilometres away from Agartala. It is surrounded by RudraSagar Lake. Later visit Kamalasagar Lake which was constructed in 15th century by Maharaja DhanyaManikya.
Return back to Agartala in the evening, overnight at hotel.
Day 21: Agartala / Depart
